It's about time they brought them into the 6 nations. They're a fantastic spectacle in both the premiership and the world cup, and even in the lower leagues at your local club. It's just a pity there's uproar about this change while the ELVs get passed without so much as a nod in our general direction!

I couldn't believe this when I read it. Walker has played so well for Gloucester since he arrived and is a genuine utility player who can play 10 or 15 well enough to make it into any Premiership squad.
Why they need to spend money on Spencer is beyond me, he's always been a bit of a liability on the field (although exceptionally talented) and Ryan Lamb needs consistency at his position in order to improve and hopefully become the 10 they need him to be.
Seems like they had some money to spend and just plucked out the best player available, I hope I'm wrong.

I think Ireland have what it takes this year. They were much more efficient and better organised this year against a half decent French side.

The real test will come against the Welsh though. They weren't outstanding this weekend but I fear there's more to come from them yet. Good luck next week England, you'll need it!

England have about as much chance of winning the six nations as they do of winning a fight with a wet paper bag! My money’s on Wales again, Ireland were the most impressive side over the weekend but their consistency tends to waver throughout the tournament. In fact the only thing they are consistent at is being inconsistent! (sorry!)
The French were much better than I expected, though, which could see England finishing a meagre fourth.

I agree, if not the forces then get them doing something to tire them out and give the youngsters a sense of belonging.
